Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute, huh? I FINALLY got the kids together to get a pic for the Christmas cards. Then, my printer wouldn't print. Forget it, I'll just take the pic to Walgreens. I uploaded the pic & when I went back to get the prints, half of Nick's head was cut off! I got a refund, went back home & uploaded the ORIGINAL, not my cropped, edited version, made the changes & sent it for printing. They won't be done until 8pm?!?!?! Oh well, FINALLY got them & finally got the last of my cards OUT!!!!

Day 264

Another VB game tonite. Becca FINALLY got her home uniform. Unfortunately, it's not exactly like the other girls'. Her's doesn't "glow" in photos. LOL Looks a lot better than the frumpy t-shirts she & Hannah W were wearing. Go Lady Knights!!!

Day 233

Traditionally, we go out for lunch on the first day of school. The last couple of years, this hasn't been possible 'cause I worked for a different school and volleyball practice has interfered. So, this year, Becca asked if we could go get Bagels one day before school. We stopped at StL Bread (which is Panera Bread in the rest of the country) and picked up bagels today. QUITE YUM!!! I got a plain one, Becs got Cinnamon Crunch & Nick got French toast. Ok, that's what we ALWAYS get. We are not a family who likes to mix things up.

Leaving the kids' school today, these little guys were hanging out in the field next to the school. Hmm, wonder what THEY learned today???

Day 201

Isn't it the summer equinox on which you are supposed to be able to balance an egg on it's end?? Well, apparently, 7/21 is the day you can balance your soda can on it's side. Actually, according to Nick, you can do it any day. You just have to have the right amount of soda left in the can (about half).

I thought this was cool, Scott was worried it was going to fall & spill. That man REALLY needs to lighten up!

Day 172

Happy Father's Day!!!

We went to Pasta House where they were giving free Spaghetti for all dads! That's Scott's favorite anyway! Wayne & Judy joined us with Mom & Dad. Toasted Ravs, YUM!!!

When we came out from the restaurant, THIS is what the temp was showing!! I HATE SUMMER!!!

After dinner, we went back home & relaxed. Mom & Dad went to Applebees with Wayne & Judy for soup & dessert; Scott & I had popcorn! When Mom & Dad got back, we played more games. It was a fun, relaxing holiday.

Day 141

Yesterday was the awards ceremony at Bethel. Becca got on the High Honor Roll and Nick made Honor Roll. I'm so proud of both of them!!

Day 111

Today's pic is courtesy of Nick. We were at Walmart & he brought over the Axe body spray. He said he should get it as it "matched" his deodorant. Anything to make teen boys smell good has to be embraced!! When we got home, he took my camera & took this pic. He told me to use it as my pic of the day. So, here it is!

Day 80

Saturday is our dinner out night. We usually go somewhere nicer than fast food but Scott was playing cards & I wasn't even sure I would be able to eat (see previous post!) So, we had some running to do and no one could agree on what to eat. Since Scott was gone and mom is MUCH nicer than he is anyway, I told the kids we would each get what we wanted: Jack in the Box tacos for Becca, Taco Bell tacos for Nick & Rally's cheeseburger for Suzi. Everyone was happy. Until I realized I could not eat! This made me VERY sad

Woke up to SNOW this morning. I'm sure it'll all be gone by 10am. Pretty coming down tho.

Found my purse & my camera wasn't in it. It was down here the the whole time. Suprise! I'm lazy. LOL

Anyway, here is my view when I got to work yesterday. Wasn't the pic I had hoped for but I think it turned out pretty good. One of these days (when the sunrise is earlier, I'll take one from my house!)
