Day 286
Leaving today for Sycamore, IL for the VB tournament. If we win, we're state champs & get a banner for the gym. I only got 4 hours sleep last night and I'm not the best at staying awake behind the wheel. We'll see how it goes. We leave at 12:30 from the school. Scott's out of town so it'll just be me, Becs & Nick. Poor Jack will be home alone until Friday when Scott gets home from Iowa.

Day 257
Today was NOT a good day. It started off that I ran TOTALLY out of soda for me. I had to go to the grocery store for stuff for dinner so I thought, no big deal. I went to the store but soda was $4.18 for a 12 pack. NO WAY!!! I'm totally addicted but I'm not stupid. I can do better than that! So, I stopped by McDs to get a $1.17 hugo to wet my whistle. Skippy at the drive thru window (not the speaker) tells me they're out of diet coke. HOW CAN YOU BE OUT OF DIET COKE????? I personally think they were out at the drive thru and were too lazy to get it from the dinning room but, we'll never know, will we?? I finally ended up getting a $4.99 24 pack at WalMart 'cause all the other stores were nearly $4 for a 12 pack. Addiction is NOT pretty!!

Day 195

Nick is nuts. And, clearly, so am I as I made this my picture of the day 'cause he said so. It's a ketchup bottle that has been to a party & had too much to drink. There was no lampshade nearby so, he's wearing a White Castle box instead. But, it got me a pic of Nick which is become harder & harder (unless I sneak up on him & then my camera takes too long & he notices me & puts his hand over the lens so I can't take the pic!). So, I give you drunken ketchup. Enjoy!!

Day 165

Anyway, we are leaving in like 12 hours and I do have to sleep during some of that time but this is all I have packed. This is my stamps and crafty related stuff, Nick's game systems (yes, plural; he has a game cube w/a built in screen in case the hotel doesn't have adaptors for his Wii, he has his Wii in case there ARE adaptors, he has his PSP and GameBoy, assorted games and controllers for each system and a guitar so he can play Guitar Hero.) and blankets for the car ride 'cause Scott likes to BLAST the A/C. Clothes, toiletries and food apparently aren't that important; These things are!

Day 104

My hand is MUCH better today. Still a little sore & there are things that it hurts to do (not typing thank goodness!) I'm definately on the mend!

day 45

In retrospect, it might have made more sense to put the cake in Scott's office & close THAT door. It was yummy!!

Day 14
Ooops, missed this one. Here is my pic for Wednesday.
When I left to take the kids to school on Wed, it was still dawn, cold but the sun was coming up. When I got to school the sun was shinning. When I looked outside again after the breakfast rush, no sun!! No sun the rest of the morning & into the afternoon. When I left to pick up the kids the sun was shinning brightly again. Odd weather that turned MEAN later on. D
own to zero overnight. School was canceled for Thur before 2:30pm on Wednesday!!! Weird.
Anyway, when I got home from the "bus run" the sun was shining thru the window making this pattern on the wall. It's from the snowflake light in the window (see Jan 8 blog post). Thought it looked neat.
